Food For The Hungry

Want to make a difference in someone's life?

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. Matthew 25:35

We're asking our UCN Family to bring a nonperishable item of food with you when you come to worship.  We'll get it to a local food bank where it will get to those most in need.  A basket is in the foyer to collect the goods.  So check that cupboard before church and also take advantage of the two-for-one deals at the supermarket.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in lts various forms.   1Peter 4:10

 UCN's Compassionate Ministries is looking for volunteers who are willing to give a few hours of their time once a month to help reach out to the community.

Help children learn to read, comfort senior citizens in nursing homes, help the homeless, sort food to ease hunger, improve parks, assist animals, etc......
