John S. Mcleod

Native of Bennettsville, South Carolina

Graduate of South Carolina State College

Retired Colonel, US Army, with 30 years active duty in Korea, Germany, and Viet Nam (three tours).

Decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal for Valor, Air Medal, and Purple Heart. Also holds Combat Infantry Badge and Master Aviator Wings.

His civilian career includes:

Disabled Vets Employment Representative, State of Florida

Executive Director, Private Industry Council of Central Florida

He is presently serving the Lord as a member of Pinecastle United Methodist Church.

He is married to the former Pearl Gibson and has four children and five grandchildren.
